Management
Team
Our management team has over 16 years
of experience in the apparel industry. We take considerable
care in recruiting, training and retaining our middle
and senior management staff to ensure that we employ
the highest caliber personnel. Many of our managers
have been with us since the formation of the company
and have accumulated considerable experience and knowledge
of the global apparel industry. Our production and
technical staff are recruited from India, Hong Kong,
Sri Lanka, the Philippines and the U.K. One of our
key staff development strategies is to rotate key
personnel through the group so they get a solid understanding
of all aspects of our business.
Compliance and Human
Rights
We have an exemplary record of respecting
the rights of our work force. We regularly conduct
our own in-house audits of our factories to ensure
that they are meeting or exceeding all required compliance
standards. Furthermore, all our facilities have been
independently audited for compliance reasons by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
We place enormous emphasis on providing safe, hygienic
and comfortable working and living conditions for
our work force. Our success in managing our people
is shown by our extremely low staff turnover ratio
of only 5% per year.
Human Resource Development
& Training
We have dedicated substantial resources
to the ongoing professional development and training
of our work force. In this extremely competitive industry
one of the main ways in which we differentiate ourselves
is by upgrading the quality of our staff. We allocate
a fixed percentage of our revenue each year to staff
development and training. Our middle management and
operator training program was designed by Kurt Salmon
Associates. |
